Double-lip seal
These seals provide low friction, effective sealing against many contaminants, and accommodate axial displacement of the shaft. In highly contaminated environments, they can serve as the first barrier in a three-barrier sealing solution.
The combination of housing seals, the grease fill in the housing, and a bearing with integral seals can have a significant impact on bearing service life.
