Heavy duty rubber-energized polyurethane piston seal
MPV seals are double-acting piston seals of metric dimensions that have a polyurethane slide ring and a rectangular nitrile rubber energizer. The wear-resistant slide ring has a sealing surface that has been designed to reduce friction and prevent gap extrusion. Notches in the edges of the slide ring enable the seal to be rapidly pressurised in response to changes in pressure and direction. Typically, these profiles may be placed without specialised equipment.
