Rubber-energized polyurethane piston seal
LPV seals are double-acting piston seals with a polyurethane slide ring and a nitrile rubber O-ring energizer. They are available in metric sizes. Notches in the edges of the slide ring enable the seal to be rapidly pressurised in response to changes in pressure and direction. Typically, these profiles may be placed without specialised equipment.
