Radial shaft seals with low cross-sectional height are intended for bearing arrangements that incorporate needle roller bearings.

These contact seals are designed without garter springs. SD design seals have a larger primary seal lip and a smaller auxiliary dust lip. The lips are made of polyurethane and the reinforcement ring is made of polyamide instead of metal.
