SKF housing seals are the first barrier against contamination.

The four-lip seals are more effective than the double-lip and generate less friction, which enables higher shaft speeds. For highly contaminated environments, SKF recommends the three-barrier solution. This cost-effective sealing solution can have a significant impact on bearing service life as contaminants have to pass through three barriers to reach the bearing. When ordering, please note that one item (seal pack) contains two seals (four halves).
