SKF’s presence in Malaysia began in 1973 with the establishment of SKF Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a sales and service firm based in Kuala Lumpur.
Following that, in 1991, SKF Bearing Industries (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. established a manufacturing plant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The Nilai plant is one of SKF’s most sophisticated and technologically advanced manufacturing plants. All manufacturing and quality control processes are fully automated and equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce the latest generation of bearings, in accordance with SKF global quality standards.
